It takes a while to get used to. You can post your messages like Twitter, but you can also add comments to others' posts (that's why more people than your contacts might appear in "Overview")
Welcome VB! I would change one thing - use the Veronica only Twitter feed. The feed you're using has your friends Tweets, too. That's confusing and adds unnecessary chatter. We just want to hear what you're saying!
